South Luangwa National Park, Zambia, Africa

October 25 - November 1, 2020

Is an African safari on your dream list?

Nearly everyone has dreamed of going on an African safari. It's time to live your dream! Join a vibrant group of fellow explorers on the adventure of a lifetime in the pristine wilderness of Zambia.

The wildlife of Africa is iconic, and most of us have been excited about seeing animals like elephants, giraffes, zebras, and lions since we were kids. Even just looking at photos of an African safari can make us feel peaceful and connected with nature. Imagine how you'll feel when you're there in person, connected with nature on a deep level.

Connect with nature...and with your creative and peaceful self.

What does an African safari with Yoga and Art Adventures look like? Every day, you'll have the amazing opportunity to take two "game drives" (or "game walks"). In a small group, you'll head out into the park in the company of a local wildlife expert. Every day will be a true adventure, since you never know what you'll find out there!

In between the wildlife experiences, you'll relax back at the lodge and have lunch. Patti will offer yoga, to help stretch out your body and calm your mind to integrate the incredible experiences. Nicole will offer art lessons, so you can connect to your creativity and express the joy and excitement of all that you're seeing. You can choose to do both yoga and art, just one of them, or do neither one and take a rest or have a massage instead...every day, you can choose whatever feels right to you.

Enjoy the comforts of the award-winning Mfuwe Lodge.

Of course, you're going to Africa to enjoy nature. But that doesn't mean you have to sacrifice comfort! Mfuwe Lodge offers top-notch accommodations right in the middle of the wild action of South Luangwa National Park. You'll have all the creature comforts of home, including amazing food, comfortable beds, and hot showers. There's even a Bush Spa, where you can receive the massage of a lifetime!

Best of all, Mfuwe Lodge lies along a path that elephants have long taken to get to the wild mango trees when their fruit is ripe. That means the elephants often walk right through the hotel lobby! We've selected the timing of this adventure to coincide with the season when the elephants come, to give us the best chance of witnessing this amazing spectacle.
